On the Next Represent NYC: Is New York City Made for the Elderly?

As state government continues to cut funding for senior programs, the rising population of elderly New Yorkers are at risk of losing access to the transportation, health and housing services they need to survive.

This Sunday on “Represent NYC,” Manhattan Borough President Gale Brewer talks with Jeffrey Abrandt of Goldfarb, Abrandt, Salzman & Kutzin LLP and Martha Sullivan of Citywide Behavioral Health Coalition for the Black Elderly about the challenges seniors in New York City face and what they can do to protect themselves.

Watch "Represent NYC" this Sunday at 7pm on MNN1 (Spectrum 34 & 1995, RCN 82, FiOS 33) and MNNHD (Spectrum 1993) or stream it live on mnn.org!
